At the beginning of the pandemic, the Commission waived the requirement to have licence applications and audit forms notarized. At the last Board of Directors meeting, this requirement was removed permanently. The Commission By-law was updated to repeal by-law 336(a), which required licence applications to be notarized. By-law 336(b) was updated to include additional disciplinary measures that may result from submitting false information on licence applications.
Nova Scotia will mark Queen Elizabeth's funeral on Monday, September 19th with a provincial holiday. Public schools, regulated childcare and provincial government offices will be closed. Banks will be open, but the Land Registry Office will be closed.
